January Jammin 2014 Work from Home Income Stop Whining Make Money

January is definitely setting the tone for the year at $1,611.52. If I could keep that up all  year, Id be on track to bring down about $20,000 this year, which would help with so many things (kitchen remodel, paying off my husbands truck, a new PC, new tires for the previously mentioned truck and more!).

As always, I dont post this because Im bragging; I post it as a challenge to you if you want to do what I do. Of course there are those who make much more than I do, but I choose to do what I do with kids underfoot and I can only put in a handful of hours per week. The income potential for you is there, and I just want to share sources and helps with you.

In case you wanted to know, here were Aprils numbers, and then Mays numbers. Then here are Junes numbers, and you can see Im increasing my income every month. July was amazing but not as good as August! September was $1,651.26. October was a little better than that. Heres November. Here was December 2013.

I am in the Stop Whining About Money and Do Something About It Club! Care to join me in 2014? Open enrollment is now and there are lots of new members!

Disclaimers: For the record, I have no reason to lie to you about any of the income I’m reporting, and the most underhanded, nasty, smarmy thing I’m going to do is give you my referral links so I can make a whopping dime or so off of each person who signs up to do what I’m doing! The dollar amounts I show are what I actually RECEIVED in my hot little hand or PayPal account, not what I EARNED because things show up at different times and take different amounts of time to come around.

Just like always: I STILL do not count my eggs before they are in my PayPal account. Now, lets get started:

1. Fiverr. $332. The majority of my income is from proofreading when my kids sleep.

2. Bubblews. $320.84. Just click on the word Bubblews and you can sign up using my referral link and I might make a dime. This is basically a blogging site that you can read more about here. Anyone can join.

3. Regional Parenting Magazine articles, new and reprint: $150. That would be thanks to this little gem, and Im not even really trying or writing anything new. I got busy with proofing and slacked hard on this area, but plan to make a comeback in 2014! My girlfriend also just got a piece published using the email submissions list I have in this book. It works!

4. PostLoop. $5.91 doing not much at all. Im going to send you here because I have a lot of information on this and it needed its own post. Bottom line: probably worth it and potentially $10/hour while you watch TV. *IF YOU SIGN UP UNDER ME USING MY REFERRAL LINK, THANK YOU! PLEASE DO THE 10 POSTS TO GET STARTED; YOU WILL GET POINTS FOR THOSE AND THEN A RATING, THEN YOU CAN CONTINUE ON.

5. Private proofing, formatting, social media jobs: $640

6. BlogHer tweets, Facebook posts and blog ad income: $55.34

7. The Kindle Pixie, my side business helping authors get the attention they deserve: $84.50

8. Ebooks on Amazon: $22.93 is my half after I pay my partner, who designs all my covers and does other misc. wonderful things. I now have 5 ebooks on Amazon with a 6th on the way (Laid-Back Homeschooling) and a 7th (The Kerrie Show Takes on Summer), so I am not to be deterred about this ebook business! Heres how to find my offerings! And heres how to find the ebook below for only 99 cents, which leads to another, free one with tons more markets for online and guest posting venues that pay:

UPDATED October 2013s Kick Ass Work From Home Income

Lets just get straight to the point: October 2013 weighed in at a whopping $1,774.96 (if I could do that every month, that translates into about $21,000 per year working part-time from home and taking Sundays off ... not bad for a girl who didnt even go to college!). So far this year Ive made about 12 grand from my home while homeschooling my brood and going out to play with them almost every afternoon. And did I mention October is one of our busiest months for social outings and homeschooling and life in general?

In other words, I have a life. Im only working a few hours a day and if I could work full-time I could easily be pulling down close to $50,000, which I dont think is too shabby. The roofing project went over by about $1,000, and Im able to help pay that off. The kids are still in gymnastics at about $200 per month, and Christmas is going to be a breeze this year. Hubs needs new tires? No problem!

Here were Aprils numbers, and then Mays numbers. Then here are Junes numbers, and you can see Im increasing my income every month. July was amazing but not as good as August! September was $1,651.26.

I am in the Stop Whining About Money and Do Something About It Club! Care to join me? Open enrollment is now!

1. Fiverr. $531. The majority of my income is from proofreading when my kids sleep, but I also have gigs for promoting things via my social media outlets.

2. Bubblews. $303.52. Just click on the word Bubblews and you can sign up using my referral link. This is basically a blogging site. Anyone can join. (updated November 2015 and I dont write for them anymore because they kept changing the pay structure and so now its very difficult to make a dime there and they take FOREVER to pay. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL ANYMORE and am taking my articles down from that site)

3. Regional Parenting Magazine articles, new and reprint: $155. That would be thanks to this little gem, and Im not even really trying or writing anything new.

4. PostLoop. $5.14 doing absolutely nothing.

5. Private proofing, formatting, social media jobs: $530

6. BlogHer ads income from 2 tweeting campaigns plus one month of ads on my main blog: $107.06

7. Ebooks on Amazon: $11.24 is my half after I pay my partner, who designs all my covers and does other misc. wonderful things. I now have 5 ebooks on Amazon with a 6th on the way (Laid-Back Homeschooling), so I am not to be deterred about this ebook business! Heres how to find my offerings!

8. The Kindle Pixie. This is a new business venture where we do ebook promotions (free days, reviews, send ebook to review and free sites, write press releases, do formatting and covers and proofreading and more!) and I split profits 50/50 with my partner, so this month we made $132. (updated November 2015 I do not own this business anymore)

Come back to see November 2013s numbers! (**Ive also been updating for 2015 as well!)

Novembers Work From Home Income

November weighed in at a scrawny $1,191.63.  Heres why it was a little slow. I kind of shut down for a while and needed a little break to grieve and take care of some other things.

So far this year Ive made about $13,000 from my home while homeschooling my brood and going out to play with them almost every afternoon.

In other words, I have a life. Im only working a few hours a day and if I could work full-time I could easily be pulling down close to $50,000, which I dont think is too shabby. The kids are still in gymnastics at about $200 per month, and Christmas is going to be a breeze this year. Hubs needs new tires? No problem! Need to remodel the kitchen before we move? A FINE PARENT (online)
afineparent.com
sumitha@afineparent.com
Guidelines: Write for us about Our Current Topic, which can be found online. Submit detailed outline by approximately the 4thof each month. I will let you know if your outline is accepted on approximately the 6th. The first draft of the full article is due by approximately the 13th. Payment will be made within 24 hours of receiving the final draft. Payment per accepted article is $100 + links + a shot at the annual bonus. (NOTE: This page is updated on the 1st of each month with a new topic and submission dates. Please sign up for notifications.) A Fine Parent is an online community for parents who believe that Great Parents are Made, Not Born. We focus on one topic each month that can help us become better people and better parents. Each week on the blog I publish one in-depth article related to the monthly topic. Initially, I wrote all the articles for this blog myself. After sharing a few readers stories and guest posts however, I realized just how much we can all benefit from shared wisdom and diverse voices. Hence this call for you to write for us. If you are constantly working on becoming a better parent, if you have a few hard-earned nuggets of wisdom under your sleeve, if you see another parent and instantly connect, AND if you happen to be a writer as well … boy, have we been waiting for you!

What We Look for In the Articles We Publish:
·         the article MUST offer practical and actionable advice/tips
·         the article MUST contain personal stories and anecdotes that connect with the other parents in our community (blah list posts won’t cut it)
·         the article MUST be written in web-format (well-organized; skimmable; short paragraphs; lists and bullets when possible; custom illustrations when possible)
·         the article MUST include references to books, research or other authoritative references (you can even link to articles on your own blog as long as it is relevant and offers value)
·         the article MUST be original and not published anywhere else before
·         the article MUST contain the mandatory “2-minute action plan” (contemplation/reflection questions) and the “long-term action plan” (specific action to take over the next week) sections at the bottom of the article (see the bottom of any article for samples)
·         Most articles on the blog are in the 1,500-2,500 words range. I prefer to stick to that range, but will make exceptions on a case-by-case basis.
By submitting the article you agree that if your article is published, I will retain the rights to republish or reuse the material in the future, of course with due credit to you. If you’re not familiar with the blog, please spend some time there to get a feel for it first. You may even consider joining our community and just watching what gets posted for a bit before you start writing for us.

How to Submit
·         Send me an email with the article outline before the deadline. Include as many details as possible to help me make an informed decision (for instance, mention any background stories that you plan to tie in, a list of the practical tips that will be included, references that will be used, any books that will be mentioned etc.)
·         If you have published online before, please send me a few links so I can get a sense of your writing style.
·         If your outline is accepted, send the completed article as a word document before the deadline.
·         Include the keywords “Kick-ass Article for AFP” in ALL your email subject lines. (I get a LOT of mail, so this is extremely important to ensure that you receive a prompt response from me).

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1.       I missed the deadline for this month, or this month’s topic does not resonate with me. Do you by any chance have a list of the future topics?
Yes, sort of. A Fine Parent has been evolving into a true community blog and the topics we cover now are picked by our readers through a survey. A link to the response from our latest survey is online, and that should give you an idea of what we will cover next.
2.       How do you notify me about the outline?
I do my best to notify everyone of (a) the receipt of the outline and (b) the final decision. It will help immensely if you include the keywords “Kick-ass Article for AFP” in ALL your email subject lines. I receive a lot of mails and those words are part of an email filter that marks your mails as important so I can respond in a timely manner.
3.       What kind of articles are more likely to get selected?
We’ve been doing this for a few months now, and a pattern is beginning to emerge. The articles that I end up publishing are the ones where I see that you personally relate to the topic you’ve chosen to write about and hence will be able to connect more authentically and genuinely with the reader. For instance, if you are writing about how to teach kids to be compassionate, then either you’ve had to deal with your child acting unexpectedly mean, or your child has been a victim of bullying. Also, the “lessons learned”/ ”what I’m trying to do”/ ”what is working for me now” parts of your article tend to be much more real and not a riff off of a few Google search results. Think of it … You are a parent too. Which one of these would you rather read—a preachy list of things of what you must do in any given situation, or a real-life account of what another parent did in a very similar situation, their thought process, the obstacles they came up against and how they triumphed?
4.       Can I submit more than one outline?
No. Please submit only one outline per month. See #3 above. I’d rather that the focus be on quality than on quantity, and you send me that one article about the topic that most resonates with you.
If you have not written for us before or if you’ve not been a member of our community for long, please use the suggestions below to send your first outline. Also, please be sure to pick something you have personal experience with—anecdotes, unique perspectives and lessons learnt are highly valued in our community (hashed up lists compiled using Google search generally don’t make the cut). If you can bring professional advice from your day job and apply it in a clever and practical way to this month’s topic, please do—these are some of the most highly prized articles we seek out!
Approximate pay: $100 per article via PayPal with the chance for a $200 bonus at the end of the year if your piece is the most popular.

Marchs Kick Ass Work From Home Income Stop Whining Make Money!

March came in at  $1,766.76.  Ive been able to take my kids on some fancy dates lately with more planned and we are able to save up for a week-long trip to Branson (okay, two nights are free for being a blogger but still!) and are saving up for another week-long trip to Eureka Springs, Arkansas in the fall. Sure couldnt do that last year! And can you imagine what groceries cost each month for a family of SEVEN?

Sure, Mr. Kerrie brings down a nice wage, but these days prices are going crazy ... some people NEED this "extra" money to pay basic bills because of a layoff has happened or some other bad situation is going on. Some people like being able to make extra money for "wants" ... and why not when it is so easy to do from home when the kids are at school or when they are asleep or watching a movie?

In case you wanted to know, here were Aprils numbers, and then Mays numbers. Then here are Junes numbers, and you can see Im increasing my income every month. July was amazing but not as good as August! September was $1,651.26. October was a little better than that. 2. Bubblews. $320.05. Just click on the word Bubblews and you can sign up using my referral link and I might make a dime. This is basically a blogging site that you can read more about here. Anyone can join. I made less here than other months because of the way the payments worked out. Ive started to cash out only on Sundays at around $80 each time so it takes about a week for the payment to clear. Last month I wasnt able to do as much because I was proofreading, but I was still cashing out around $50 per week.

3. Regional Parenting Magazine articles, new and reprint: $120. That would be thanks to this little gem, and Im not even really trying or writing anything new. I got busy with proofing and slacked hard on this area, but plan to make a comeback in 2014!

Fiverr Tutorials Where I Make Money From Home WAHM

I stumbled on Fiverr.com in April of 2013 when I was looking for a way to make money from home online to pay off some mounting dental bills and other things. I was not disappointed. I immediately had a full queue full of jobs and found that I could customize my gigs ... if I was not busy I could put my gig on a 2-day delivery time. If I was full up, I could change it to a 29-day delivery time to discourage new orders. Give it a shot. Its a versatile way to make money online.

An Amazing Gift from the Financial Markets by Marc Charles

An Amazing Gift from the Financial Markets

6:47 AM

Dear Entrepreneur:

Today I’ll show you an incredible “gift” investors, speculators and traders are using to make money.

The “gift” is exchange-traded funds or ETF for short.

Hang on……

I know you’re probably familiar with ETFs.

But I’ll show you how my clients and I are making money with them. You won’t learn these tactics on financial websites or from the clowns on CNBC.

An exchange-traded fund (or ETF) is an investment vehicle traded on stock exchanges, like stocks.

I’ll give you a powerful overview in a second.

The profit making potential of ETFs is mind-boggling…and here’s why…

The risk of trading ETFs is super-manageable, and especially for beginning traders and speculators.

I like the ETFs for three reasons:

1.     Risk is limited to the initial investment (LOW)
2.     The ETF market is easy to enter and exit (LIQUID)
3.     ETFs offer nice leverage (LEVERAGE)

You won’t have the same leveraging or pyramiding ability of a futures contract or Forex.

But there’s a new type of ETF which enables traders and investors to leverage opportunities in a big way.

Marc’s ETF “Cheat” Sheet

An ETF holds assets such as stocks, bonds, currencies, or commodities and trades at approximately the same price as the net asset value of its underlying assets.

The most popular ETFs track an index, like the Dow Jones Industrial Average or S&P 500.

ETFs can be an attractive tool for making money because of the relatively low risk, tax efficiency, and stock-like features.

An ETF combines the feature of a mutual fund meaning it can be purchased or redeemed at the end of the trading day for its net asset value (or NAV).

ETFs traditionally have been index funds, but in 2008 the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission authorized the creation of actively-managed ETFs.

What is an Actively-Managed ETF?

An actively managed ETF will have a benchmark index (like the S&P 500), but managers can change sector allocations, market-time trades and/or deviate from the index as they see fit.

This produces investment returns which will not mirror the underlying index perfectly.

Passive ETFs typically follow indexes pretty closely, which allows investors to track the fund fairy easily.

Oil Exchange-Traded Funds

The price of oil has climbed to historic highs.

However, not everyone believes oil will remain at historically high levels for eternity, including me.

In fact, the last four months is a good indication of what can happen in the oil market….it can skyrocket when bullets start flying.

But…..and listen closely……oil can plummet in price too! Almost NO ONE believes this….but this is where the real money is made.

For example, look what happened to oil during the recent disaster is Japan….the price of oil went down!

You can make a fortune with ETFs when you understand how to trade markets when before they skyrocket or plummet… especially if you go against the crowd at the right time.

On top of that, with EFTs you can wait indefinitely!

Gold Exchange-Traded Funds

Gold is trading at near three-decade highs.

But you can make a fortune when and if gold plummets in price too!

I know….this is a hard thing to grasp. It’s also one of the hardest lessons for novice traders to learn.

Look around…..everyone from Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity to Warren Buffet and George Soros is touting gold as the greatest investment since the dawn of civilization. There are hundreds of “buy gold” commercials running at any given time.

But very few people believe the price of gold or precious metals will decline over the next 12 to18 months.

The so-called financial experts try to convince people gold will surge in price for eternity.

But like stocks, real estate, bonds, baseball cards and diamonds this is not always the case.

Sure… in times of sudden panic, stock market crashes, currency wars, etc. the price of gold “tends” to rise quickly.

But the price of gold can plummet during crises, too – as witnessed in the gold market recently.

For example, the price of gold surged from $400 an ounce in 2004 to more than $1400 an ounce in 2010.

However, at the beginning of the real estate and mortgage crisis in 2008 gold actually FELL in price.

So whatever your view happens to be there’s likely a Gold ETF you can trade.

Cool Insight on “Ultra” Exchange-Traded Funds

If, as an investor or trader, you believe the price of something will go up, you are considered bullish, or a “bull.” If you believe the price of something will go down you would be considered bearish, or a “bear.”

As an investor or a trader you might even be “ultra” bullish or bearish, meaning you think the price of something is going to go up or down in a big way.

That is the beauty of a new breed of ETFs called “ultras.”

Ultra Exchange-Traded Funds enable an investor or trader to leverage an investment in a much bigger way than just an ordinary ETF.

Here are a few “ultra” ETFs you can track on any financial website. I’ve noted the underlying stock, bond, currency, or commodity:

ProShares SIJ UltraShort (Industrials)
ProShares EFU UltraShort (MSCI EAFE)
ProShares EEV UltraShort MSCI (Emerging Markets)
ProShares EWV UltraShort MSCI (Japan)
ProShares MZZ UltraShort (MidCap400)
ProShares SCC UltraShort (Consumer Services)
ProShares DXD UltraShort (Dow30)
ProShares FXP UltraShort (FTSE/Xinhua China 25)

How to Make Money with ETFs

Every investor has an opinion of the world financial markets, politics, and economy.

This is why the markets move so dramatically – up, down, and sideways.

In order to make money with ETFs your world view of the future needs to be accurate.

What’s more, you need to be fairly accurate in terms of timing too.

For example, in 2000 I was confident the Dot-com hysteria was a joke. I was advising several companies being run by 20-year olds valued at more than $100 million each…with NO sales.

It seemed like everyone was swept up in the fantasy.

And novice traders were making cash hand over fist on stocks of these Dot-com companies – on paper.

But no one I knew or read about removed profits from the Dot-com fiasco by the time everything collapsed.

In this case my world view of the market was correct. I made a bundle shorting tech and Internet company stocks. But my exposure to downside risk was way too high.

On top of that my timing was off by 10 months or so. I knew the market would plunge but timing is crucial.

Our view needs to be accurate in terms of “timing.”

And so…..

In order to make money with ETFs we need to examine the market we’re investing and calculate a “reasonable” time frame.

Now….one of the great aspects of ETFs is timing is not overly important.

You can hold an ETF for weeks, months and even years without any downside risk, margin calls or frustration.

For example, everyone knows the housing and real estate market has been in serious trouble for more than 3 years.

Some investors believe the housing market will bounce back in 2011. While other investors believe the worst is yet to come this year.

The reality is probably somewhere in the middle.

If you believe the housing market will stay the same or get slightly worse there are two ETFs you could purchase to take advantage of that trend:

Ultra Short Financials Proshares (AMEX: SKF)
This ETF benefits when and if financial services suffer. This would include real estate lenders, international banks; property and casualty insurance companies; companies invested directly or indirectly in real estate; diversified financial companies, such as Federal National Mortgage Association, credit card issuers and investment advisers; securities brokers and dealers, and investment banks,

ProFunds Short Real Estate Inv (MUTF:SRPIX)This ETF invests in derivatives that ProFund Advisors believes should have similar daily return characteristics as the inverse (opposite) of the daily return of the index. Assets of the fund not invested in derivatives will typically be held in money market instruments. It is non-diversified
The beauty of ETFs and specifically “ultra” and “double short” ETFs is they enable a trader to leverage markets (up or down) in a big way, but offer lower downside risk of futures and Forex markets.

There you have it!

Everything you wanted to know about ETFs but were afraid to ask!

Your humble host…

Marc Charles

******* Action Strategy *********

Start researching the “ultra” ETF market today.

When you start trading ETFs you’ll need an online brokerage account.

But that’s easy…..you can open an account with as little as $500.

The right ETF enables you to profit if a market skyrockets, plummets or trades sideways.

On top of that, you can make a boatload of money with double long or double short (ultra) ETFs.

You can subscribe to ETF publications and advisories to gain some street smart insight. I’ve included a couple of recommendations in today’s issue.

Paper Trade ETFs!

You can trade ETFs on paper and never risk a dime!

Simply select the ETFs you want to buy (or sell, or purchase options on), write down the current market price, and watch them in the paper or financial websites go up or down in value.

Develop an exit strategy.

Buy and hold for eternity will not work in the coming months and years. Nothing lasts forever – so develop a specific exit plan and remove profits regularly.

Aprils ASTOUNDING Work From Home Income!

April came in at a shocking  $1,831.49!!!!

Heres November. Here was December 2013. And here was January. February is here. March is here.

1. Fiverr gigs and other private proofreading. $1,210.50.

2. Bubblews. $101.62. Just click on the word Bubblews and you can sign up using my referral link and I might make a dime. This is basically a blogging site that you can read more about here. Anyone can join.

3. Regional Parenting Magazine articles, new and reprint: $195. That would be thanks to this little gem, and Im not even really trying or writing anything new. I got busy with proofing and slacked hard on this area, but plan to make a comeback in 2014!

4. Blogging income, BlogHer tweeting, etc.: $162.37.

5. Ebooks on Amazon: $0 (of course I got paid May 1 and didnt get it on this report). Heres how to find my offerings! And heres how to find the ebook below for only 99 cents, which leads to another, free one with tons more markets for online and guest posting venues that pay:

6. PostJoint: $60. I get paid to post certain things on my blog. Ill write a post about this company soon.

7. Jamberry Nail Wraps: $102. Im an independent consultant with Jamberry nail wraps now and this business is taking off like crazy. I paid off my consultant kit in the first month. Heres my fun blog about my journey and hopefully it never comes off as salesy.

Come back to see May 2014s numbers or sign up for an email subscription to make it easier on yourself!

*Yes, I pay taxes on every stinking cent!

How Much Money I can Make from Shutterstock IStockPhoto Fotolia and Dreamstime

That is a question that everyone will ask. There is no straight answer on this, but I can give some ideas on how much you can make from the below vectors:

A Combination Padlock
Shutterstock = $1.50/month
IStockPhoto = $4.00/month
Fotolia = $0.10/month
Dreamstime = $0.10/month
GraphicRiver = $0.50/month

Green Environment Icons Set
Shutterstock = $8.00/month
IStockPhoto = $5.00/month
Fotolia = $0.50/month
Dreamstime = $0.20/month
GraphicRiver = $5.00/month

Looking at the two example above, you can see that a good vector can make about 10x times more than an average one.

Shutterstock, IStockPhoto, and GraphicRiver can make some worthy earnings, whereas Fotolia and Dreamstime are almost hopeless. However, this does not mean you should forget about Fotolia and Dreamstime because the above are only two small examples. Sometimes, Fotolia and Dreamstime can make even more profit from a single item, but the chances are low.

As for photos (not vector), I could not give you a good example as I do not upload photos. But earnings from photos are normally 10x times lower than a vector, unless you have a very good photo which can sometimes make $5/day.

Great Things About Working From Home

I was forever chomping at the bit to become a stay-at-home mom, and I became one at the age of 30. Once at home, I spent my days holding and staring at and nursing my baby. I held him for naps and read books and watched a lot of crappy TV. I needed the downtime from having been going to school from the age of 5 and then working from the age of 16.
After a while I got a little ... unchallenged. Not bored. But just not challenged. I thought up a sticker line for nursing moms. I tried selling scrapbooking stuff. The best was when my old boss called and said my replacement sucked and I needed to come in ... with baby and I could pick my own hours. That was pretty ideal ... until my baby got squiggly and mobile.
After that, I started doing some data entry and writing appeal and thank you letters from home for nonprofits. After my third kid, I was all into article and ebook writing and never looked back. I didnt even get an internet connection at home until April of 2013 and then really took off and was able to make about $2K from home per month writing, editing and doing social media jobs if I really worked it. AND I could go to the pool and hang with my kids.
I never loved working in an office. I hated the drama (sure, I added to it because I was not challenged and was bored) and the being on time and getting up early and dealing with so many personalities in person. Hated the politics because Im bad at that crap. I wish I had started working from home in my 20s but I didnt have the maturity and the internet was barely a thing.
So I want to highly recommend working for yourself. If you want to be a vet or a lawyer or an architect or something that requires a degree and that you work in a structured setting ... yes, do what you have to do. But if you are good at many things (car repair, home repair, proofreading, woodworking, software development, selling Younique cosmetics or Jamberry nail wraps like I do) that can possibly be done from your own home or close by, GO FOR IT!
Today Im going to link to a great BlogHer piece I came across. Its called 20 Things I Love About Working from Home. I love this piece! http://www.blogher.com/my-two-cents-worth-working-home?from=bhspinner

Februarys Fabulous 2014 Work From Home Income Stop Whining Make Money!

February is a month I decided to slow down. I learned how to put my Fiverr gigs on Vacation Mode and took the opportunity to chill a little bit and do some decluttering around my house.  February still came in at  $1,141.95.  Its nice to not have to freak out when we find out insurance is done paying for my sons braces; paying for gymnastics is no problem anymore; and when I got a flat tire blow-out to the tune of $150, that same day I had money to cover it in PayPal from BlogHer social media things I had done. Every little bit helps!

As always, I dont post this because Im bragging; I post it as a challenge to you if you want to do what I do. Of course there are those who make much more than I do, but I choose to do what I do with kids underfoot and I can only put in a handful of hours per week. Just like always: I STILL do not count my eggs before they are in my PayPal account. Now, lets get started:

1. Fiverr and other private proofreading. $360. The majority of my income is from proofreading when my kids sleep.

2. Bubblews. $209.36. Numbers should be higher for March.

3. Regional Parenting Magazine articles, new and reprint: $190. That would be thanks to this little gem, and Im not even really trying or writing anything new. I got busy with proofing and slacked hard on this area, but plan to make a comeback in 2014! My girlfriend also just got a piece published using the email submissions list I have in this book. It works!

4. PostLoop. $5.73 doing not much at all.

5. BlogHer tweets, Facebook posts and blog ad income, as well as a nice check from AdSense: $342.15

6. Ebooks on Amazon: $34.71. I now have 4 ebooks on Amazon, so I am not to be deterred about this ebook business! Heres how to find my offerings!

*Yes, I pay taxes on every stinking cent!
